Providing resources for healthcare workers and promoting climate-informed care
Connecting with NH Clinicians
NH Healthy Climate worked with Dartmouth Health Children’s and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth to develop the ecoAmerica award-winning Climate-informed Pediatric Care (CIPC) to address the growing health impacts of climate change on children and work toward establishing climate-informed care as a standard practice within pediatric clinics.
Building on that work, NH Healthy Climate launched Environmental Health & Resilience for NH Students (EHR for NH Students), a continuing education module and supplemental resources for NH school nurses, tailoring our CIPC program to the unique audience of school nurses on the frontlines of public health.
For more opportunities to learn, check out our educational webinars and curated healthcare workers resources.
To get involved, join one of our volunteer working groups and help develop projects that support NH’s transition to climate-informed care.
Connecting with NH Communities
Promoting adaptation by educating communities on the connection between climate and health
NH Healthy Climate’s Speakers Bureau travels all over the Granite State to speak directly with audiences large and small about the many human health impacts of climate change affecting NH communities. Invite a NH healthcare worker to give a climate health presentation to your community today!
NH Healthy Climate reaches kids and their caregivers with our Climate Connections K-8 lessons plans.
