The 1970 Clean Air Act's Holiday Gift for NH's Whites: Rollback Risks and Emerging Health Concerns in a Warming Mountain World

  • NH Healthy Climate PO Box 426 Manchester, NH 03105 United States (map)

Dr. Georgia Murray will talk about the successes that the 1970 Clean Air Act brought to New Hampshire’s White Mountains in terms of reduced air pollution, ozone, acid rain and power-plant haze. She will discuss the potential impacts of Clean Air Act rollbacks that are currently underway, alongside the climate change impacts our mountain ecosystem is enduring. These changes have important implications for Granite Stater’s outdoor recreation economy, health and wellness.
